Baked Scallops Recipe

These baked scallops are breaded and seasoned with garlic and parmesan cheese.


4 Tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 lbs bay scallops, rinsed and drained
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs or panko breading
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

In large Corning ware or casserole dish, pour in melted butter and place scallops evenly inside the dish.

In small bowl, combine the bread crumbs, garlic, Parmesan cheese and cilantro.

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the scallops.

Bake until scallops are firm, about 20 minutes.
