Basic Meatballs Recipe

Need a recipe for basic meatballs? Make these bad boys ahead of time and freeze a batch for when time is pressing and you need to get dinner on the table fast!


1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1/4 cup chopped onion

(Serves 3-4)


Preheat oven to 400F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine beef, milk, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, egg and chopped onion. Mix until well combined.

With clean hands, shape into 15 to 20 1-inch meatballs.

Evenly place meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.

Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 20- 25 minutes, until the juiced run clear and the meatballs are cooked through.

Serve immediately.
