A classic easy biscuit recipe that will fill the house with sweet aromas of home cooking.
Preheat oven to 450F.
Cut dry ingredients and butter together, then pour milk in.
Mix with a fork, but use clean hands to make sure that all dry ingredients get mixed in.
Put onto a floured board and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.
Pat dough into a square.
Fold in half to make a rectangle, the fold again in half.
Pat gently down into a square.
Cut into even biscuits and place on ungreased pan.
Bake 12-15 minutes.
Makes 12 biscuits.
