Blueberry Scone Recipe

This blueberry scone recipe makes small scones that are the perfect small portion size.


2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup half-and-half cream
1 egg
1 cup fresh blueberries

Makes 12 Scones


Preheat oven to 375F

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Add in butter, cream and egg and mix until its just combined. Do not over mix. Add in blueberries and mix till they are just evenly distributed, again do not over mix.

Drop dough onto line baking tray by the tablespoonful and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Serve warm.
