Brazilian Flan Recipe

This Brazilian Flan recipe (known in Brazil as Pudim), has simple ingredients and is delicious served with a hot espresso or latte.


2 cans condensed milk
1 can milk (using the condensed milk can)
4 whole eggs
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup water


Over medium-high heat, in a large pan, melt the sugar for the caramel ( about 3 cups) be careful not to burn it!

Cover a bundt pan with the syrup.

Mix the condensed milk, milk and eggs with an electric mixer for 5 minutes.

Pour this mixture over the caramel in the prepared pan.

Preheat oven to 385 degrees F.

Fill a larger pan with water and place bundt pan onto larger pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick comes out dry.
