Cheesy Prawns Recipe

A crunchy cheesey prawn recipe that will make you want to savour every bite.


1 - 1.5 lbs (about 600 g) large prawns
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 can tomato sauce
1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon butter


Shell prawns and de-vein.

Split prawns lengthwise from underside.

Wash and pat dry.

Season prawns with salt, sugar and pepper.

Mix tomato sauce and cheeses.

Pour mixture over prawns in a grill proof pan.

Let cook in a closed barbecue for 35 minutes until cheese is melted and browning.
