If you are a chocolate chip lover, this chocolate chip bread pudding is a must try. It calls for simple ingredients and is simple to assemble.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease an 8x8 inch glass baking dish with butter.
Rip the bread into large pieces and place into the baking dish.
Drizzle the melted butter over the bread.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
In a mixing bowl, use and electric mixer to beat the eggs. Add the milk, sugar cinnamon and vanilla and mix in.
Pour over the bread and use a fork to gentle push down so the bread absorbs the liquid mixture.
Place into the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top springs back when lightly tapped.
Remove from the oven and let cool for about 20-30 minutes or until thickened.
Serve as is or with fresh whipping cream and or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
