This recipe for chocolate walnut brownies is topped with an easy homemade caramel glaze.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease an 8 inch square baking tray with butter.
Melt chocolate and butter in a small pot on low heat, stir till smooth. Set to cool.
Whisk together flour, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until mixture thickens. Add flour mixture and mix till incorporated. Stir in melted chocolate until well combined. Fold in walnuts.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for about 35 - 40 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Set to cool.
In a small pot bring butter, milk, and brown sugar to a boil. Once sugar dissolves, take off heat. Pour hot glaze over cut up pieces of brownie.
