Chocolate Walnut Cake Recipe

A dark and moist chocolate cake recipe dripping with chocolate sauce.


6 eggs
150 g sugar
1 fluid ounce strong coffee
100 g butter
120 g walnuts, grind them as thin as flour
120 g unsweetened chocolate
60 g walnuts, chopped coarsely

120 g unsweetened chocolate
50 g chocolate

Several slices of an orange for garnish.


Beat the eggs and sugar thoroughly together.

Melt the chocolate with the coffee and the butter.

Add to the egg and sugar mixture then the nuts. Add coarsely chopped walnuts evenly into batter.

Bake in a soft oven from 1 to 1 and a 1/2 hour in a shallow tart pan.

Take from the oven when still a little bit moist.

Melt the chocolate with the butter and cover the cake with it.

Garnish with slices of orange.
