An easy spaghetti meat sauce recipe that is quick to throw together and so delicious.
Over medium heat (ideally in a heavy bottom pan), saut garlic in olive oil for 4-5 minutes until softened.
Add ground beef and cook, stirring beef and garlic often.
Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil (since it is lean beef, it will not have much of its own juice).
When beef is almost cooked through, season with soy sauce & ketchup, mixing well into beef.
Stir in oregano and cook for another minute or two.
Add can of tomato sauce, mix and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In the meanwhile, boil a large pot of water.
When it comes to a boil, add package of pasta, letting boil for 10-15 minutes or until desired doneness.
Drain water from pasta, and then drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Spoon on sauce and garnish with parmesan cheese.
This meal freezes very well!
