Festive Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows Recipe

A chocolate dipped marshmallow recipe that is easy and can use sprinkles or chopped nuts.


1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips of your choice
1 tablespoon butter
14 marshmallows
colored sprinkles, your choice of color (optional)


Begin by melting your chocolate chips either for 1-2 minutes on high in microwave, or else over a double boiler on the stove.

Stir in butter until melted.

Using wooden skewers, dip each marshmallow into chocolate and swirl a bit to let chocolate drizzle away.

Place marshmallows 1 inch apart on a wax paper-lined baking sheet; immediately sprinkle sprinkles or the nuts on top, if using.

Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, 45 to 60 minutes.

Store, covered, in refrigerator.
