Home Made Salsa Recipe

This homemade salsa can be thrown together in a matter of minutes. You can adjust the seasonings to suit your personal taste.


1-14 oz can diced tomatoes
1-10 oz can diced tomatoes & green chilies
1/2 small onion, roughly chopped
1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
1/2-1 jalapeno, with or without seeds depending on how spicy you like
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
small to medium size handful of cilantro, washed
juice of 1 lime


This recipe uses canned tomato ingredients rather than fresh and can be whipped up in moments.

Use either a food processor or a blender.

Place all the ingredients in and combine for about 30 seconds or until the salsa is a consistency that you would like.

Do a taste test and adjust your seasonings to suit your personal taste.

Keep refrigerated.
