A very tasty recipe for orange spice cake with an orange glaze.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.greased 8-9 inch round bottomed oven safe dish.
Cream the butter and white sugar using the paddle attachment in a stand mixer, Add the eggs, oil, vanilla, honey and orange juice, and beat well until smooth.
In a separate mixing bowl, Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Add the dry ingredients gradually to the wet ingredients and beat well until smooth. Pour batter into baking dish.
Bake 35-40 minutes. let cool then turn out to cool completely.
In a small bowl, Combine the orange juice and zest with the icing sugar using a whisk to work out all the lumps. Immediately pour over the cake, while it cools.
