Okay, so jello candies are perhaps the lazy man's treat, but they are fun to make once in a while.
In a medium heat proof bowl, pour the 2 packages of Jell-o Gelatine powder.
Carefully pour in the boiling water, stirring constantly.
Stir for 3 to 4 min, until the gelatine has completely dissolved.
Pour the Jell-o liquid into a 13x9-inch pan, and then carefully transfer to the refrigerator.
Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours, until firm.
Once the Jell-o is firm, remove from the fridge.
Dip the bottom of the pan in hot water for 15 seconds to loosen it from the pan.
Using a decorative cookie cutter shape, cut the Jell-o into 24-30 decorative shapes. Be careful to cut all the way through the Jell-o to the bottom of the pan.
Gently lift jello candies out of the pan and set aside on a serving plate or into a container.
Store Jell-o candies in the refrigerator in a container with a tight fitting lid.
