These macadamia brownies can be served plain or topped into a fancy dessert with chocolate sauce, whip cream and of course that cherry on top.
Brownie
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 8 inch square baking pan with butter.
In a small pot melt butter and chocolate on low heat, stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Mix in sugar and honey until well incorporated.
Mix in eggs and flour until just incorporated. Fold in chopped macadamia nuts.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 - 30 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out with a moist crumb. Let cool completely in tray.
Topping
In a small pot bring to a boil peanut butter and honey on medium heat. Once boiling remove from heat, stir in vanilla and chocolate until smooth. Mix in macadamia nuts and pour over cooled brownies. Chill for an hour in fridge. Garnish with whipped cream and maraschino cherry. Serve.
