Mango Salsa For Fish Recipe

This mango salsa recipe adds a sweet and spicy compliment to a fish dish.


2 mangos, cut into small chunks
1 shallot (red onion), cut into small pieces
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 fresh jalapeno (cut in half, remove seeds and white veins to remove heat and chop into very small pieces)
1 fresh lime or lemon, juiced
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2-3 sprigs fresh cilantro, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt ( or to your taste)


Place the mango pieces, shallot, garlic, and jalapeno into a bowl. Stir lightly to combine.

Stir in the lime or lemon juice.

Stir in the olive oi, cilantro and salt.

Let the salsa sit for at least one hour to bring out the flavor.

Eat either refrigerated or at room temperature.
