A recipe for an easy to make Peanut Butter Cake with a delicious Peanut Butter frosting.
Peanut Butter Cake
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease a 13 inch by 9 inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter, sugar and brown sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add into the creamed mixture.
Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack.
Peanut Butter Frosting
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and peanut butter until smooth.
Gradually add the vanilla and powdered sugar. Add the cream one tablespoon at a time until it reaches the desired consistancy. Beat 3 minutes until nice and light and fluffy.
Spread onto the cooled cake.
