Saucy Chicken Wings Recipe

This saucy chicken wings recipe is loaded with zippy flavor.

Ingredients

20 chicken wings, split and tips discarded

Sauce
1 cup margarine or butter
6 Tablespoons red hot sauce
6 Tablespoons barbecue sauce
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons olive oil
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
1/8 teaspoon cumin

Serves 4-6

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease witha little oil. Set aside.

Rinse the wings in cold water.

Place the wings into a large pot and put enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.

Drain the water from the wings and transfer the wings onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

While the wings are baking, make the sauce.

Place the margarine into a saucepan and melt over low heat.

Stir in the remaining sauce ingredients, bring to a boil and then turn down and simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove the wings from the oven and use tongs to transfer the cooked wings into a large metal or glass bowl. Pour the sauce over and gently stir to coat evenly.

Use the tongs to place the wings back onto the baking sheet. Spoon any remaining sauce onto the wings.

Place into the oven again and cook for another

10 minutes.

Transfer off the baking dish to a serving bowl and be sure to include any of the delicious sauce that is on the baking sheet.
