Shrimp Scampi Recipe

500 grams raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
500 grams fettuccine
1 cup heavy cream
2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup parsley, chopped


Cook pasta according to package instructions.

Drain and set aside in serving bowl

In large skillet over medium-high heat, fry onions and garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add lemon juice and shrimp and cook 3-4 minutes, tossing as they cook.

Remove from heat when pink and add to pasta bowl.

Add cream, butter and parmesan cheese and toss.

Serve sprinkled with parsley.
