A yummy recipe for strawberry marshmallow jello cake. this is a sweet yet light treat.
For the base. Crushed digestive biscuits and mix well with melted butter. Press half into into a 7 inch deep dish springform pan, top with a thin layer of grape jelly then second half of crumbs. Refrigerate. before adding filling press firmly down.
for the mashmallow. Put all the ingredients into a pot. heat and stir continuously until gelatine is dissolved. Pour marshmallow filling into the prepared baking tin on biscuit base. Put in freezer until slightly harden but not totally frozen.
for the jello. Boil water and stir in jello and gelatin until dissolved. let cool. Take pan from freezer and press sliced fresh strawberries on lightly into top of the filling. Pour cooled jello on top.Put in fridge to until set. slice to serve.
