These walnut and chocolate brownies and easy to make and are served with a rich and decadent warm chocolate sauce drizzled over top.
reheat oven to 350F.
Grease an 8 inch square pan.
In a small pot melt together butter and chocolate until smooth, let cool.
Once cool, add in egg and sugar, mix until incorporated. Add in flour, vanilla, and salt. Beat with a wooden spoon until nice and smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle walnut pieces over batter.
Bake for about 45 - 50, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean and let cool.
Warm Chocolate Sauce
Chop chocolate and place into a heat proof bowl and set aside.
Place 2/3 cup cream in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and place the pan on a cool surface.
Pour the cream over the chocolate and stir until creamy and melted.
Whisk until the sauce is smooth.
Pour warm sauce over your brownie.
