Zesty Lemon Tiramisu Pudding Recipe

A Delicious recipe for limoncello tiramisu lemon pudding.


3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 1/2 cups milk
3 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
2 Tablespoons finely grated lemon zest
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature

1 cup heavy cream
4-8 lady finger cookies, cut in half
1/4 cup limoncello
zest of one lemon


Whisk the sugar and the cornstarch together in a medium saucepan. Add the milk and whisk until smooth. Add the egg yolks, zest, and salt and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until thick.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the lemon juice and butter. Pour through a strainer into 4 individual serving dishes.

Let cool to room temperature. Chill, loosely covered, for at least 2 hours.

Whip cream until stiff peaks form.

Dip each cookie into the limoncello to let it soak up some of the liquid for 2-3 seconds.

place cookies on top of chilled pudding then top with whipped cream. garnish with lemon zest.
