Steak Kebabs with Balsamic Marinade

Steak Kebabs with Balsamic Marinade

Ingredients

  • One 3-4 pound steak - you can use any cut of meat or even individual serving steaks-the marinade will work well with any steak.
  • 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup of Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 Cloves of garlic, minced
  • Two tablespoons of soy sauce
  • One tablespoon of Worchestershire sauce
  • One teaspoon of hot sauce (Sriracha, or any hot sauce will work)
  • 1/4-1/2 Teaspoon of black pepper (depending on taste)

For the Kebabs

  • Wood or metal skewers
  • Vegetables of your choice; this recipe used onion and red, yellow, orange and green bell peppers

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients for the marinade in a large Ziploc bag and marinade with the steak for 6-8 hours, or overnight if possible.
  2. Cut the steak into one inch chunks, and cut vegetables into 1-2 inch chunks as well.
  3. Place the meat and vegetables on the skewers in any combination you like.
  4. Combine the meat and vegetables to mix the flavors together, or you can also skewer and cook the meat and vegetables separately.
  5. Place the skewers on medium heat and grill for approximately 3-4 minutes on each side, turning frequently to avoid burning the skewers on one side.
